# How to Create a Shape Cut Layer in Artwork

Some print providers require a black shape cut layer when fulfilling custom shape products. The **Shape Cut** feature in Customall helps you automatically generate a black image that changes based on personalized options selected by the customer. This saves you time when preparing shape cut files and processing orders.
