Create a Campaign (New Version)

A campaign is a combination of your product base and artwork.

Customall has introduced a new version of campaigns to make it easier for new users to create them. You can switch between the old and new versions by clicking the Campaign old/new version button on the campaign screen. Click here to view the guide for the old campaign version.

Step 1: Create a Campaign

Go to the Campaigns page → click on Add New button

Step 2: Select Product Base

To find a product base, simply enter the product base name in the search box.

Select the desired product base for your campaign by clicking on it. Once the first product base is selected, Customall will automatically filter similar product bases based on their attributes. You can select multiple product bases with the same attributes to create a campaign.

Note: Customall disables the option to add a product base to your campaign in the following cases:
- Product bases have the same Nice Name
- Product bases have the same Title
- The Nice Name of one product base is similar to the Title of another
- The Title of one product base is similar to the Nice Name of another

The selected product bases will appear at the bottom of the selection box. Click the X button to remove any product base that is not appropriate. Once you have finalized your selections, click Create Campaign to proceed to the next step.

Please select at least one product base to create a campaign.

Step 3: Choose Artwork

Click on the product base → select Apply artwork

Customall will display a window with all available artworks. You can find your desired artwork by entering its name in the search box. After selecting the artwork, click the Apply to print area button or double-click the artwork to continue.

Once the artwork is selected, you can hover over the artwork name to replace, edit, or delete it. For detailed instructions on editing artwork, check out Artwork Designer (Editor).

The number of print areas will vary depending on the selected product base.

Step 4: Edit Preview and Add Banner Images for your Website

Mockups in the campaign are automatically copied from the Product Base. You can add images by clicking the + box, or edit, hide, or delete existing mockups. Detailed instructions are available in Configure Mockup ( Printareas in Edit Mockup and Settings in Edit Mockup)

The preview of the template you select in the campaign will appear on the storefront when no actions are taken in the personalized field section.

Step 5: Edit Campaign Information

To edit the campaign name, click the pencil icon next to the campaign name → enter new name → click the checkmark icon or press Enter.

To arrange the Product Base position, click Reorder Variants → drag and drop the value to change its position → click OK.

For campaigns containing multiple product bases, the following additional information fields are also available:

Product type: Displays in store admin after you push the product.

You can choose from the available list or add a new product type by clicking on the Product type field → entering name → clicking on Add New. The new product type will appear at the bottom of the list.

Product Option: Displays on the storefront.

To edit a product option, click the pencil icon next to the Product option field → Enter name → Click on checkmark icon or press Enter.

Step 6: Rearrange the order already in Artwork

The personalized fields displayed to the right of the Mockup section correspond to the fields where the Allow Personalized option is enabled in the selected artwork. The order of these personalized fields in the campaign mirrors their arrangement in the artwork.

Selecting clipart here will update the corresponding mockup section and the default fields on the store, without impacting any previously created artwork.

To rearrange the personalized fields, simply drag and drop them using the 2-way arrow to place them in the desired position. Templates that have an organized order of personalized fields will be marked with a check mark, distinguishing them from templates without an organized order.

You can also change the position of the template field by entering the ID of the field you want to place the template field behind.

If you wish to restore the personalized fields to their original order in the artwork, click Reset ordering after rearranging the fields.

To apply the order of personalized fields from one template to others, use Apply previous to apply the order to preceding templates or Apply next to apply the order to following templates.

Use the Quick Sort Layers feature to drag and drop multiple layers simultaneously to reposition them. Click OK to save the new layer positions.

In Quick Sort Layers, you can Reset ordering or use the Actions button to reset the ordering for all templates, apply the ordering of one template to all preceding templates, or apply it to all following templates.

Especially with the new campaign version, you can preview how the personalized options will appear on the storefront by clicking the See Preview button on the campaign edit screen.

Step 7: Edit the Optional Information

You can add more product bases by clicking Add another product option. The operation here is the same as in the Select Product Base step. Then, click Create Campaign to continue.

Click the expand/collapse button to show or hide the view according to your needs.

Edit variants: For detailed instructions, please read this article: Edit Variants in Campaign
Edit additional information:

SKU suffix: A product's SKU (Stock Keeping Unit) is a combination of the SKU prefix (created in the product base) and the SKU suffix.
Product handle: Automatically generated from the campaign title. You can customize the product handle as needed.
Tags: Tags associated with the campaign.
Description: A detailed description of the campaign, automatically copied from the product base. You can edit the description.

Step 8: Save campaign

Click on Save. When your campaign is successfully saved, a green message will appear in the top-right corner of the screen.

If the message bar appears in red, it means your campaign is missing some required elements. Please ensure that:

- There is at least one artwork and one product base.
- Each product base has at least one available variant.
- All variants are valid (e.g., they have a SKU, color, size, and price).

After creating and saving a campaign with all the necessary information, you can click the Push to store button to publish the campaign to your online store. You can also publish a campaign to multiple stores. (Read more about Publish a Campaign to multiple stores)
