# Artwork Category

Categories assist in organizing the artwork into separate groups based on your specified criteria.

# Add New Category

There are 3 options to create a new category for the root (outermost level):

**Option 1**: Click **New category**, enter Title, then click **Save**.

**Option 2**: Click **Add New** in Artwork page

Then click **New Category** → Add Category Name → Click **Save**

**Option 3**: Click on the **Edit** icon of an available artwork → Click on the **arrow down** icon in Artwork Editor → Create a new category for this artwork → Click **Save**

# Operations on available Category

To add sub-categories, edit, duplicate, or delete an existing category, just **right-click** on that category and select the desired action.

# Artwork Category Hierarchy

Categories are organized in a tree structure that displays the hierarchy of all artwork categories. You can categorize artworks into different categories for improved organization.

To change a parent category, choose the **Edit category** action and select **Parent category** then click **Save**. You can add up to 10 levels of sub-categories.

# How to add an Artwork to a category?

**Option 1**: Go to Artwork page → Click **Add New** button → **Enter artwork title** and **Choose Category** where this artwork belongs to in Category option

**Option 2**: Click on the **Edit** icon for the desired artwork

In Artwork Editor, click on the **arrow down** icon → Select or create a new category for this artwork → Click **Update**

|| Removing a category will NOT delete its artworks. You can find the removed artworks in either the **Uncategorized** section or under **All Categories**.
